Its myriad opportunities to attend outstanding performances, including incomparable Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel, and nights of glorious music with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, were definitely a highlight of my high school years."
Welcome aboard! Travel the Rhode Island arts scene with RI Arts Passport ! If you are a Rhode Island high school student, your arts, English/social studies teacher or graduation project-portfolio advisor can become a member teacher and help you get free seats for major arts events in RI. We also have an Honors Program that you can enroll in or that you can follow independently for possible credit from your school. We even have an extracurricular Club...The Arts Passport Society! In partnership with your own school teacher of record, or with our Arts Passport advisor, these learning opportunities make a great "destination" if you are a student who:
- works well on your own
- likes the arts and being creative
- wants to experience the professional arts in RI
Remember, registering for Free Events is only accessible to schools and students in the Arts Passport program.
Everyone is welcome to visit out STUDENT TASK LIBRARY for special project ideas in the arts!
So, if you are a student, check with your teachers to see if they are members. If not, ask them to join! If you want to be part of an Independent Study, Honors Program, or Arts Passport Society...contact our Arts Passport advisor, Mary Lee Partington: firstname.lastname@example.org.
